On August 3rd, 2023, we held an open house for the Master of Science in Health Technology (MS-HT) Program at the McKechnie Family LIFE Home. We had the pleasure of being visited by the McKechnie family and MS-HT Advisory Board members, students, faculty, and other
guests. The LIFE Home staff was pleased to show off the space and the new research projects being held here. Our new robot Moxie was a big hit as were the virtual reality programs we are developing. Our staff and students provided an overview of current interdisciplinary research projects and demonstrated the capabilities of the various robots. Jim & Karen McKechnie always enjoy meeting our students and learning about current projects. This time they also brought Jim’s Mom and Jim’s sister, who were excited about their first tour of the
wonderful McKechnie Family LIFE Home facility.
