Student presents LIFE Home Research at the Undergraduate Research Symposium

Afnaan Afsar Ali, one of the undergraduate research assistants in the Human Factors & Aging Laboratory who conducted a study at the McKechnie Family LIFE Home was featured in the College of Applied Health Sciences News. This student is a community health sophomore who Afnann Afsar Ali wanted a bigger outlook on health care. He was brought into contact with Professor Wendy Rogers, the director of the Human Factors and Aging Laboratory, who is also the McKechnie Family LIFE Home Director. Prof. Rogers connected her to the Misty Project. The Misty project is an interview-based project that surveys eight older adults on their comfortability and interest in a programmable robot after watching videos of Misty.
