Samuel A. Olatunji, Ph.D.

Samuel is a Post-doctoral Research Associate in the Department of Kinesiology and Community Health. He serves as a research fellow in the McKechnie Family LIFE Home. He works as a robotics researcher for human-robot interaction projects, provides technical expertise for the smart home infrastructure, and supports the Assistant Director of Research in coordinating research activities at the LIFE Home. His research and development efforts focus on using robotics, smart home devices, and various other forms of technology to support independent living, healthcare needs, social interaction, successful aging, and everyday activities. His research interests are Socially assistive robotics, Interaction design, Health and Aging, and Human Factors.
