Our team is currently performing research and development with Hello Robot’s Stretch robot in the McKechnie Family LIFE Home. We are performing task analyses, developing novel end-effectors, and testing the control interface. In addition, our team recently submitted a Small Business Innovation Research proposal to the National Institute on Aging (National Institutes of Health) with Hello Robot leads Dr. Aaron Edsinger & Dr. Charlie Kemp aimed at tailoring Stretch to the needs and capabilities of individuals who are aging with mobility disabilities to support their independence.
