ENHANCE is a Rehabilitation Engineering Research Center (RERC) funded by the National Institute on Disability, Independent Living, and Rehabilitation Research (NIDILRR); grant number #90REGE0012‐01‐00). The Principle Investigators/Project Leaders of ENHANCE – Sara Czaja, Walter Boot, Neil Charness and Wendy Rogers – represent a collaboration in research from Weill Cornell Medicine, Florida State University and the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. The goals of ENHANCE are to identify, develop, and evaluate technology solutions to: support the ability of aging adults with a cognitive impairment to perform home living and community activities, and to enhance their independence and community living experience.
